Meet Dr. Truong
A family and cosmetic dentist who has been practicing dentistry for over two decades. She started her academic journey by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Davis, and was attending a PhD program in clinical psychology before realizing that dentistry was her true calling. She went on to graduate from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco with a doctorate degree in dentistry.
What sets Dr. Truong apart from other dentist is her extensive knowledge in psychology, which she uses to establish a comfortable environment for her patients. She believes that establishing trust and good rapport is essential in developing a strong relationship with her patients.
After serving as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy for three years, she has been practicing as a family dentist in Rocklin CA for the last 19 years, specializing in cosmetic and laser dentistry. Her dental practice houses the award-winning, utmost advanced system, the Lightwalker Laser, which delivers a fast, effective and minimally invasive laser treatment in all aspects of dentistry.
In addition, the Lightwalker Laser also brings successful results in Anti-Aging procedures called Smooth Lase which regenerates collagen and the Night Lase procedure which is very effective in treating snoring and sleep apnea. Because of her passion for denistry, Dr. Truong has dedicated a great deal of time in continuing education courses all over the country to acquire the latest dental technology to better serve her patients. Dr. Truong’s compassion, caring, and gentle nature combined with her skill and extensive knowledge in dentistry is why she is the GO-TO dentist for many families in Northern California.
